Booking and Cancellation Policy
– Reservations: All bookings must be made in advance. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
– Cancellations: Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled rental time will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance will forfeit the rental fee.
2. Late or No-Show Bookings
– Late Arrivals: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled rental time. If you are late, your rental period will still end at the originally scheduled time.
– No-Shows: If you do not show up for your rental without prior notice, you will forfeit the rental fee.
3. Safety Considerations
– Life Jackets: Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while on the boat.
– Safety Briefing: All renters are required to attend a safety briefing before departing. This will cover boat operation, emergency procedures, and local navigation rules.
– Alcohol and Drug Policy: Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund.
4. Boat Rules
– Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the boat as specified in your rental agreement.
– Operating Hours: Boats must be returned by the agreed-upon time. Late returns will incur additional charges.
– Cleanliness: Please keep the boat clean and free of trash. A cleaning fee will be charged for boats returned in poor condition.
5. Damage and Liability
– Responsibility: The renter is responsible for any damage to the boat or equipment during the rental period. A damage deposit is required and will be refunded upon return of the undamaged boat.
– Insurance: It is recommended that renters have their own insurance coverage for personal liability and injury.
6. Fuel Policy
– Fuel Charges: The renter is responsible for the cost of fuel used during the trip. A refueling charge of $5 per gallon will be applied for any gas used.
